Anubhaava Children’s Theatre was formed in April 2013 with a group of children from the neighborhood of Nireeksha Theatre. After Nireeksha Theatre Complex was formally inaugurated by the then Minister for Cultural Affairs, Shri K.C Joseph on 30th January 2013, Nireeksha with the aim of developing an interest towards theatre and other arts among the children of the neighbourhood introduced summer workshops for them from that year onwards. Enthused by the response of children and parents, Nireeksha designed a one-year course of theatre and allied arts from next year-that is, from 2014.
Bhaava Team: A separate theatre group was formed with adolescent girls from Anubhaava titled Bhaava.
